Projects

This projects consists of the expansion of the existing Plaza Mayor complex with the construction of the first McArthurGlen Designer Outlet center in Spain. With a total investment of 50M euros, EdP was trusted with the urban planning of the project, architectural design and engineering, as well as the construction supervision.

We were also in charge of the project management for the construction of the MA-20 motorway expansion as access to the shopping area.

Plaza Mayor Leisure Park, designed and supervised by EdP and inaugurated in 2002, was subject to a global re-design and refurbishment process in which a Gourmet area was created and new tenant units were created.

The project posed a challenge since the retail activity was kept open during the construccion process, which implied difficulties at both design and engineering levels.

Inaugurated in 2008, the Plaza Mayor Shopping centre was subject to an expansion process of some of its most notable tenants (Zara, H&M, Stradivarius), as well as an integral refurbishment.

Just like the adjoining centre, this project posed a significant challenge since these actions took place while the center maintained its operation and was open to the public, which created great difficulties at both design and engineering levels

Retail park located on Sector 1 of the PAU SUNP.BM-3 “Bahía de Málaga”, fully developed by EdP at the technical level. It has contemporary architectural design. The Retail Park includes an Ikea box.

In 2005 the planning proposal was approved.

In 2008 the 14,000 m2 GLA retail park was inaugurated.

In 2019 a refurbishment and re-arrangement of retail units process was underwent.

Partial refurbishment of the Area Sur Shopping Centre to create a new retail area operated by Media Markt. The project had the usual challenges of an open Shopping Centre’s operation.

EdP carried out the design, engineering, construction supervision and Project Management of the project.

The Leisure Park Plaza Mayor is the result of a continuing planning development since 1997. What was initially conceived as a purely leisure park has morphed into a retail destination of the first magnitude in the Costa del Sol area.

2004 – Inauguration of the leisure park, with 28,900 m2 GBA

2015 – Creation of Media Markt retail unit

2019 – Rearrangement of retail units at Los Naranjos square

2020 – Creation of the gourmet area

Shopping Centre in Castilleja de la Cuesta, Seville. Its planning development was initiated in 2000. Its design is modern / contemproraty and the building is aligned with a boulevard which runs next to its northern façade. It was developed in two phases:

2004 – Ikea box, 28,000 m2 GBA

2004 – Shopping Centre, 14,000 m2 GBA

El Centro Comercial Plaza Mayor Shopping es fruto del desarrollo urbanístico y arquitectónico continuado desde el año 2006 a la actualidad.

Siguiendo las premisas de su hermano mayor, Plaza Mayor Parque de Ocio inaugurado en el año 2004, está formado por plazas y calles al aire libre, compuesto por tiendas de primeras marcas.

Año 2006: Plaza Mayor Shopping, con 17.800 m²t, con 28.900 m² de techo, inaugurado en el año 2008.

Año 2019: Reforma Plaza Mayor Shopping, inaugurado en el año 2020.

Shopping Centre located in Salobreña, Granada, at the junction of the 340 road and the Granada motorway.

Inspired by northern African architecture, was designed by EdP. The planning process was initiatedin 2005.

The total GBA is 65.244 m2.

Proximity Shopping Centre and office building located in the Cerrado de Calderón area of Malaga.

Retail: 7.201 m2

Office space: 3.038 m2

It was completed in 2008

Ikea store featuring 28.000 m2 GBA. Located in the Aljarafe area of Seville, is part of the Auresur complex and was inaugurated in 2004.

EdP carried out the integral technical development of the project, starting at the planning level and finishing with the construction supervision of the project.

Shopping Centre located in Vélez-Málaga next to the Meditarreneum motorway and the Juan Carlos I avenue. Developed in three phases:

Original shopping centre, 39.214 m2 GBA wna inaugurated in 2000

First expansion, 14.592 m2 GBA in 2006

Second expansion, 4.900 m2 GBA, currently in planning stage
